We observed quite a bit of new technology coming out in the hearing aids domain in late 2024 and early 2025. In this article, I'll discuss the best hearing aids of 2025 and will keep updating it as new devices come to the market throughout 2025.

As mentioned before, please remember that these hearing aids are all great products, but you also need to consider the importance of the proper hearing aid fitting and likely the need for fine-tuning them.

Oticon Intent was one of the best hearing aids in 2024 and still is one of the top picks in 2025.

Highlights

It uses AI, DNN, and motion sensors for better speech intelligibility in noisy environments and does that pretty good.
Oticon Intent uses LE Audio for a better streaming experience. Using LE Audio supports longer battery run time, perfect for those with a need for lots of streaming. It is Auracast-ready.
It comes in a rechargeable model carrying size 13 rechargeable batteries.
New receivers by Oticon provide better retention of the receiver in the ear canal compared to Oticon Real hearing aids.
Oticon Intent comes in 4 technology levels.

Lowlights

I have fitted Starkey Edge for patients with relatively large ears and noticed that the longer receiver wire size 5 still comes a bit short. I wish Starkey would release a size 6 receiver to fix this issue.

I couldn't not pick Widex Allure simply because Widex finally introduced a product which is completely based on a new platform and not an improvement of the Widex Moment. Widex still leads the hearing aid industry for the most natural sound, which places the Widex Allure number one hearing aid for musicians, music producers and everyone with an educated hearing for sound and music.
